Festive Tips

While the festive season can be full of sparkle and excitement, it can also be a tricky time for many SEND families. Changes to routine, busy environments, lots of noise, and extra social demands can feel overwhelming, even when they come with the best intentions. What’s often meant to be joyful can sometimes be exhausting, as families work hard to keep children feeling safe, comfortable, and supported.

At the PCF we’re all parent carers too, so we’ve put together some of our top tips that help us and our families survive the festive period. We hope they’re fun, helpful reading!!

We’d also like to take this opportunity to say thank you for your wonderful support and encouragement throughout the year, we end 2025 feeling positive and hopeful that good things are coming for all our families in 2026. Our offices and the Support Line will be closing on Friday 19th December and re-opening on Monday 5th January.

Take care of yourselves and we look forward to seeing you in the New Year!
