ND Pathway Support Line

We are delighted to have launched a Neurodevelopmental Pathway Support Line!

Here’s what you need to know….

  • What is the Neurodevelopmental Pathway?

Covering Bath, North East Somerset and Wiltshire, the ND Pathway is an assessment service for children and young people who are showing possible signs of Autism and/or ADHD. It also supports those who are undergoing ADHD medication reviews.

  • What does the support line offer?

A new telephone and email support service for parents and carers navigating the ND assessment pathway, offering advice and understanding, including help in completing the needs led profile and submitting a referral for ND assessment.

Staffed by parent carers , we are here to:

  • point parents in the direction of other support services
  • explain the process
  • offer support with the new profiling tool
  • offer an understanding, appreciative ear

We are not clinicians and cannot unfortunately offer any medical advice or opinion regarding the child or young person’s assessment. We also do not manage the waiting lists so are unable to comment on the likelihood of cancellations or prioritise anyone up the list.

  • Who can use it?

Any parent or carer of a child or young person who may be showing signs of ADHD or Autism and those who have already been referred to the ND Pathway.

  • When is it available?

Telephone lines and email inboxes are currently manned on Wednesdays from 9-1 and Thursdays from 1-5.

  • What’s next?

Please take a look at our events page for details of all our Cafes, Meet-ups and other Events. We’re all like minded parent carers whose families face similar challenges. We aim to create safe places where everyone can talk openly without fear of judgement or rejection. Offering understanding to all families living with SEND is our fundamental aim – empathetic, inclusive support with a generous dose of tea, coffee & cake!
