Promise

We’ve been asked by BANES Childrens Services to get some feedback from our young people on the Ofsted/CQC “Participation Promise”:

“We promise that all children and young people in Bath & North East Somerset will be listened to by the adults working with them. When we meet with you, we will keep these five promises.”

When we meet you, we promise to:You have the right to:
1. Respect you for who you are1. Be treated fairly
2. LIsten to what you say2. Have a say. We will always listen to your views
3. Share our ideas with you3. Make choices
4. Help you understand decisions that we make4. Information that is easy to understand
5. Feedback to you5. Know what has happened, because of what you’ve told us

We would love to hear about your young persons experiences. Do they feel that these promises have been kept to, either fully, partly or not at all?

Please email us your feedback via . All responses will be anonymised before we share them with Children’s Services.
