PINS

The Partnership for Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools, or PINS, is a national programme led by parent carer forums, health and education partners. It brings together parents, families, teachers and specialists, to break down barriers and create school environments where all children, including those with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or other learning differences, can thrive.

Phase 1 involved 12 primary schools across BANES and phase 2 now includes another 9. Work has already begun by gathering parent feedback with an online survey. The next steps will include holding meetings with parents, sharing results with schools, identifying themes and developing co-productive solutions. The aim is to build long-term, equal partnerships between schools and parents, by developing a whole school, needs led approach for all pupils.

As part of the process, the PCF has created a padlet of useful information and resources relating to neurodiversity and next steps for seeking help. The padlet is accessible to all and can be found here
