The Law Commission has published a consultation paper on disabled children’s social care law. The commission wants to hear from children and young people who may be impacted, including the siblings of disabled children and young people.
SENDIAS are holding an open session with Send Out, their children and young people’s participation group on Tuesday 14 January 2025 at 5.30-7.00. The session will take place online.
The aim of the session is to bring children and young people together to discuss their views on key aspects of the consultation and to share these with the commission.
SENDIAS ask for people to email them at to book a place/let them know they are coming.
They will send out an invitation to the virtual meeting shortly before the 14th of January 2024. They will also try their best to accommodate any access needs and would encourage any potential attendees to contact them to discuss how that can be done.
